Hello, I am Frances and welcome to my corner of the web! With nearly three decades dedicated to nurturing and guiding children and young people, I have honed a passion for understanding their unique perspectives and needs. When the weekend rolls around, you’ll find me trading the responsibilities of caregiving for the thrill of the open road, as I embark on adventures astride my beloved motorbike. But my heart finds equal joy in the simple pleasures of walking alongside my two loyal canine companions, exploring the world one paw print at a time.
Hi my name is Ellen and I am the Registered Homes manager for The Hollies and waiting to register for Hazel house, for the last 29 years I have supported Adults and Children in care settings, I started my journey in 1997 after gaining my Degree in Health and Social Care, my caring journey began from Support worker, to Team Leader and then to Deputy homes manager, I have gained so much experience and finally became a Registered Manager in a previous Children’s home, my aim when I joined First4care was to achieve an OUTSTANDING home and this has happened this year.
Getting to know me!! Well, I have 3 adult Children who have played a part in supporting me as a Mum and Manager, they totally understand when I may appear stressed and they are amazing at giving me a hug when I need one. I love Shopping and have a collection of “Coats” people describe me as being “High Maintenance” which makes me smile, I love travelling and have had some amazing holidays so I am very lucky, my new role at home is being a dog mum and my Puppy Bruno really does give the best cuddles. The staff and children we support all know I have a very big obsession with Great White Sharks and have the secret santa gift of a shark mug to prove it.
I have my Level 5 in Leadership and Management Children and Young People, and I am completing My Level 7 as the final part of my qualifications, My vision is to have many homes where all our young people live life to the full and have the best experiences.
Hello, I am Carrie and I have been working within the care profession for the last nine years. I started my career as a residential support worker within First 4 Care, within this role I cared for vulnerable young people, both with emotional and behavioural needs and also young people with Severe Autism and learning difficulties. I was the manager of Abbey and Liberty House and have returned after a short time away. I love being creative and I am always looking for new projects to get stuck into. I love all things vintage, and spend my weekends nestled in my narrow boat with a mug of tea, in the midst of old antique store finds, crochet blankets, with a fire on and my dog curled up beside me.
Hello I am Sam, I am a dedicated professional who started as a Support Worker and worked my way up to becoming a Registered Home Manager at the Beeches children’s residential care home. I am passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children.
I am now successfully running my own home. Outside of work, I enjoy playing football and spending time playing video games. My journey showcases the determination, resilience, and commitment to providing exceptional care.
